Boat Equipment:  36' custom built Sermans with a large covered cabin, fully enclosed marine head, GPS, and Radar. Ye Ole Pirate provides all rods, reels, tackle, bait, coolers and ice for your fishing trip. Specialized fishing equipment such as wheelchair stabilizers and electric reels are available for your personal use while onboard in addition to extra hand holds and various patented supplies for the best possible fishing experience.

Anchors Aweigh Charters, Inc. on Amelia Island, Florida is non-profit and provides no cost fishing charters to those with permanant physical disabilities.

Steve and Wanda Hair have modified their 36 foot charter boat, Ye Ole Pirate, to easily accomodate wheelchairs. The vessel is fully equipted with a wheelchair ramp, a large number of extra handholds and several devices for inshore as well as offshore fishing in North Florida and South Georgia.

They believe that the objective of fishing is not always to catch fish but that being on the water is therapy for the soul.
